Estimated Length
2-4 Hours of Programming

Objective:
Students will apply principles of sound, vibration, and material science to design, construct, and play a functioning guitar made from everyday materials.🎵🎶

Set in the vibrant city of STIIX-Ville, students are preparing for the town’s upcoming “Battle of the Bands” by creating their own musical instruments. Through this creative engineering challenge, students will explore pitch, resonance, and acoustic design while reflecting on the cultural significance of music and documenting their build process.🎸

Although this specific project is not on there, check out our optional Augmented Reality app, STIIXVille. In it, students can bring concepts & careers to life for 6 other of our other STIIX projects.🏙️
