Objective:
Students will take on the role of aerospace engineers in STIIX-Ville, challenged to design and build a functional helicopter powered by elastic energy. Their mission is to assist the local hospital by creating a prototype that can successfully lift off and travel a short distance to simulate emergency patient transport.🚁

Along the way, students will explore concepts such as lift, torque, energy transfer, and rotor dynamics—while racing to deliver a safe and innovative solution to STIIXVille’s urgent medical needs.🏥

Although this specific project is not on there, check out our optional Augmented Reality app, STIIXVille. In it, students can bring concepts & careers to life for 6 other of our other STIIX projects.🤳
